1. Agreement to these terms
By using the app or website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using them. You must be legally able to accept these terms or have permission from a parent or guardian where required by law.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. These terms do not limit rights that applicable consumer protection laws do not allow to be waived.
2. Your license to use the app
Subject to these terms, you may use Vlog Dual on compatible devices you own or control. You may not redistribute the app, sell access to it, remove ownership notices or copy its protected code and assets except as allowed by law or a separate written license.
For a version distributed through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s applicable usage rules and Standard End User License Agreement apply unless a valid custom EULA is supplied for that version. These website terms describe our services and do not replace Apple’s applicable license terms.
We retain rights in the app and website except for content that belongs to you or other rights holders. No rights are granted beyond those expressly stated or provided by applicable law.
3. Your photos, videos and other content
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, audio, scripts, captions and other content you create or import. Using Vlog Dual does not transfer ownership of that content to us.
You are responsible for the content you record, edit and share, including obtaining necessary permissions from the people recorded and the owners of imported music or other media. You authorize the local processing needed for the features you choose, such as cropping, editing, caption generation and export.
You control when and where to share your work. Keep backups of important files. Deleting an app project does not necessarily delete copies saved in Photos, another app, an external folder or a backup.
If you send material to support, you permit us to use it only as reasonably necessary to handle your request, subject to the Privacy Policy.
4. Responsible use
Use the app lawfully and respect others’ privacy, intellectual property and recording rights. You must not use it to record or distribute content unlawfully, harass or exploit others, bypass security controls or interfere with the app or website.
Check the recording rules that apply where you are. Do not operate the app when doing so would distract from driving or another activity that requires your attention.
5. Features, compatibility and availability
Vlog Dual supports dual-format capture and export, editing, captions and related creative tools. Dual format refers to portrait and landscape outputs from one capture; the current app does not record the front and rear physical cameras simultaneously.
Feature availability and output quality depend on your hardware, operating system, permissions, available storage and selected settings. HDR, stabilization, external-drive recording and offline speech recognition may be unavailable on some devices or configurations. The current app interface is in Simplified Chinese.
Automatically generated captions and face-assisted framing may contain errors. Review your content before exporting or publishing it. A resolution setting does not guarantee a particular image quality or capture performance.
We may update, change or discontinue features as the app evolves, subject to applicable law and any commitments made when you purchase a feature. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every future device, system or accessory.
6. Optional purchases and subscriptions
The following applies only if paid features or subscriptions are made available in the version you use. The price, features, billing period and other purchase conditions will be shown before you confirm a purchase. This website does not process payments or sell a subscription.
Purchases made through Apple are billed and managed through your Apple Account under Apple’s terms. A recurring subscription renews according to the conditions shown by Apple unless you cancel it. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Access to paid features depends on a valid purchase entitlement. A refund, revocation or expiration may end access. Where available, use the app’s restore-purchases option with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
Refund eligibility is determined by Apple’s applicable policies and local law. See Apple’s guidance on canceling subscriptions and requesting a refund. We do not set Apple’s refund decisions or receive your full payment details.
7. Third-party services
Apple services, system sharing destinations, external websites, email services and storage providers may have their own terms. Your use of those services is governed by their applicable terms, and you are responsible for complying with them.
External links are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party services or their availability. Apple is not responsible for providing support for Vlog Dual; contact us for app-specific questions.
8. Warranties and limitations of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that every recording, export, caption or stored file will be error-free, or that the app will meet every individual requirement.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app or website, including loss caused by device failure, unavailable storage, disconnected external drives or third-party services. You should keep independent backups of important media.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer guarantees, fraud, intentional misconduct or other protected rights. If your local law does not allow a limitation, that limitation does not apply to you.
9. Ending your use
You may stop using the app or website at any time. You can remove the app and delete its local data using your device controls. Separately manage exported copies, external files, backups and any subscriptions.
Your permission to use the app may end if you materially violate its applicable license or these terms, to the extent permitted by law. Provisions concerning ownership, existing payment obligations, liability and disputes continue where their nature requires it. Ending use does not transfer ownership of your content.
10. Changes and disputes
We may revise these terms to reflect changes in features, distribution or legal requirements. Updated terms will show a revised “Last updated” date. We will provide additional notice or obtain agreement when applicable law requires it. Material changes will not remove rights already protected by law.
If you have a concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Applicable law determines the law and courts governing a dispute, together with any valid license terms for your app version. Nothing here restricts mandatory consumer rights or access to remedies in your place of residence.
