1. Overview
Vlog Dual is designed around local capture and editing. The current app does not require a user account, operate a developer-managed cloud media library, include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, or upload your footage to our servers.
We do not sell personal information or use your footage for advertising. Information you choose to send by email, and services you choose to use outside the app, are described below.
2. Information handled

The app does not request location, contacts or tracking permission. If media you import or share already includes personal information, you remain in control of that content and the copies you distribute.
This static website contains no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, contact forms or cookies set by its code. When the website is hosted, the hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, browser details and access times to deliver and secure the website. That processing depends on the hosting provider’s configuration and policies.
3. Device permissions
- Camera: to take photos and record video.
- Microphone: to include audio in video recordings when audio recording is enabled.
- Add to Photos: to save exported photos and videos to your photo library.
- Speech recognition: to generate captions from video audio on supported devices and languages.
- Selected files and folders: to import files you choose and access a recording or export folder you select through the system file picker.
You can deny or revoke camera, microphone, Photos and speech permissions in your device settings. Features that require a denied permission may be unavailable. Choosing a folder gives the app access to that selected location, subject to system permissions.
5. Storage, retention and deletion
Your saved media and projects remain in local storage or the folder you select until you remove them. Temporary processing files are used while capture, editing or export is in progress and cleaned up through the app’s processing workflows.
Delete unwanted projects using the app’s library. Removing the app normally removes its device-local sandbox data; it does not remove exports in Photos, external folders, other apps or system backups. Manage those copies separately using the appropriate system or service controls.
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain necessary support records and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of information you sent us. Where an exception requires retention, we will explain it as applicable.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You choose what to record, which files to import, whether to generate captions, where to save content and whether to share it. You can change permissions and manage your media without creating an account.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy, or complain to a relevant privacy authority. These rights apply subject to local law and to information we actually hold, such as support correspondence. We cannot retrieve or remotely delete files stored only on your device.

7. Security
The app uses Apple’s application sandbox and system permission controls for device access. You are responsible for protecting your device, selected storage destinations and backups. No device, storage system or email transmission is completely secure; avoid emailing sensitive content unless it is necessary for your support request.
8. Children’s privacy
The app is a general-purpose camera and editor and does not include account registration or features designed to collect children’s information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age of consent through support correspondence. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The revised policy will show a new “Last updated” date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it before applying the relevant change.
